The
Ferguson power take-off driven ditchers are designed to provide clean
and uniform ditches in widths of 12" and 18" at depths to 12". The
Ferguson drain ditchers adapt to all 3-pt. lift tractors in the 35 and
up horsepower range. These drain ditchers allow you to cut clean
ditches with no mounds of soil to block free passages of excess water
because the delivery chutes are designed to spread the soil over an area 10
feet to 20 feet from ditcher. Recommended in all type field
conditions, bedded or flat, where water drainage is desired. |

*Shear plate safety shown without safety
shield for illustration only. Never operate machine without safety shield.
|
Shear Plate
Safety*. This
safety is designed with two
machined plates. One is attached to the input shaft of the ditcher and
the other is welded to the end yoke of the universal joint. The two
plates are then bolted together with shear bolts. When an embedded
object is struck, the bolts will shear and the shear plate attached to the
universal joint will spin independent of the input shaft. The
universal joint is held on by retaining bolt. |
